Troye With An E

Hi, so on 31st August 2018, Troye Sivan Mellet finally released his sophomore album!

Woohooo...

It's called Bloom, yeah the same name as his third song that he already released after My My My! and The Good Side

And well, again and again, for countless time, I fall in love with an album
I know right, this year, there are so many good albums,

This year is sooo good at the start when Camila released her debut album,
then Anne Marie, then Lauv, then Shawn Mendes
and...5 Seconds Of Summer, followed by Panic At The Disco, Bebe Rexha, Yungblud, Lovely the band,
and a few weeks ago, Ariana Grande, also, Liam Payne's new EP,
and now, Troye Sivan!

**I only mention singers than I listen to the whole album
***I know other more famous singers like Charlie Puth, Nicki, Drake, BTS and Eminem also released their albums, but heyy...okay, looks like I now mention them too...hahaha

I love how even after so many other albums that I totally enjoy this year, when Troye released Bloom, that magical feeling, of falling in love with an album, comes to me again

And yeah,

At first, I was worried because you know that right how much I really love his first album, Blue Neighbourhood
I love BN so so so much that I was too afraid to feel excited about Bloom
I was worried about how could it be compared to BN

BN, always always always and always the first place in my heart,
always always always
cause it's that album, which is really sentimental to me and has magic in it
I don't know, I just love BN so so much, that's why I was worried about Bloom at first

If you enter my bedroom, the first thing you're gonna see is something related to BN,
yeah...the lyrics, from Heaven,
'Without losing a piece of me, how do I get to heaven?'

Why? I don't want to talk about it...

Okay, well I want to talk about Bloom, sorry bout that

Hmm, so, Bloom only consists of 10 tracks (12, for Target Edition - which sucks cause no Target in Malaysia) and really, when Troye said there'd be only 10 songs, I was mad

I felt like it's unfair for me to wait so long and would only get 10 new songs ?

Hmm...hmm...

and before Troye released the album, he already released 5 songs!
and yeah, it meant that only 5 new songs for me on 31st August

Troye released My My My!, followed by The Good Side - which I already wrote something about it in January, then Bloom, Dance To This and lastly, Animal

I was so mad when Troye released Animal because I felt like, no...no...he should wait til the album, there'd be not much songs left then...huh

But whatever it is, I still waited eagerly, and counted the days for Animal
Hahaha

Anyway, last 31st August, the day that I was afraid of, finally came
I was really nervous,
I was worried about what other songs could offer,
but then I saw a lot of people saying that,
'Bloom is better than BN'

I was like, 'Okay, I don't want to be like that, I don't want to compare or have any expectation cause I don't want to feel disappointed about Troye's hard work, I just want to listen and see how well it is'

and BOOM!

The first track, Seventeen...made me feel really great, because there's nothing like that in BN,
it's really really a great song, a great start for the album...and yes, I started to fall in love with the album

and then, another new song, Postcard...perghh...
I don't know how to write about the feeling when I first listen to this
it's so so so good...so good
Troye's vocal, and then Gordi's voice....ahhh...

for Plum, when I first listened to it, I didn't think it's what I like to hear,
but hell...it's so so good when I put it on repeat

and yeah, I continued to fall in love at the first hearing with What A Heavenly Way To Die and Lucky Strike

***for 2 extra songs for Target edition, which are This This and Running Shoes, I already listened to them, and they're so good too!

Well, I don't really want to say Bloom is better or BN is better,
I feel like both have different vibes and I don't want to compare cause it feels unfair to me,
when Troye made BN, he was a lot more younger than when he made Bloom
so yeah, both are good, and you should listen to both albums!

anyway, I put the title of this entry like this because lately, I'm obsessed with Anne With An E
yeahhhhh I can't wait for season 3 next year
it feels so good because I just love Anne's story and no matter how many remakes, I just can love it again and again, hahaha
and yeah, I started to rewatch the anime too because I couldn't help it hee...

And again, before you start to criticize or whatever just let me remind you of this, I'm not good at drawing, drawing is not my hobby, and I'm not major in Arts or whatever,

I'm studying mechanical engineering now, so yeahh...

I would like to learn how to draw well, but I don't know when and how and whatever, enjoy!

All my drawings here, were drawn by me using mechanical pencils (Pentel 120 A3DX) lead 0.3mm, 0.7mm and 0.9mm (yepp...I don't use 0.5mm cause I know you use that...lol) *don't take this to heart

Cause I also drew few drawings, but had to stop due to my low self-esteem and I had to catch up with my study

I know I'm just trying to give excuse here, but whatever it is, I'm telling you here that I don't make the improvement because I can't look at those drawings again *have to look at them to make improvement*

I can't look because all I could see is how untalented I was (still am) and yeah, as easy as that, I can lose my confidence gradually

I don't want that to happen (as I already have low confidence, so that's why I'm not gonna make any changes in those drawings)
